Winter: just around the corner with long nights and short days makes even the biggest baddest bosses tired to the bone.
















We went to a chocolate party this week. Rhodri was passed around among many ladies who just adored his cuteness. Is there anything better than holding a sleeping baby? That's the development this week. He slept for 5 whole hours on Friday at the chocolate party. Perhaps it was the abundance of warm, cushiony chests and adoring arms that did it. But tonight he slept for 4 hours straight. We just don't know what to make of it. He's healthy. It's great. One of these nights Clayton and I will get the picture and go to sleep at 8 o'clock when Rhodri does.

A terrible thought occurred to me tonight. We've been so excited about him sleeping for this long even if it is only once in a while...what happens when he sleeps "through the night" and is awake all during the day?

Either way, we don't care, we'll figure it out as it happens. We are loving having this little guy. We are so often overwhelmed by him and reduced to speaking in high squeaky voices and making other bizarre noises. We just love him and love him and love him. It is such fun being parents. And they say it only gets better.
